Job summary

Genesis Healthcare System is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis support and act as a steward of data used by stakeholders for critical decisions. You will work across departments to ensure accuracy and integrity of reported data in line with policies.

The role involves statistical gathering, long‑range planning, modeling and reporting, plus preparing budgets and supporting cost analysis. On‑site onboarding required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong statistical skills for pulling and organizing data for financial reporting.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
• Analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data mining and analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analyses and presentations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Work with data management for statistical gathering, reporting, and benchmarking.
• Support long‑range financial planning and project feasibility analyses.
• Perform financial analysis, modeling, and reporting with high integrity.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Conduct variance analyses of budget vs. actuals and support cost analyses.
• Assist with quarterly bond disclosures and maintain credit documents.
• Prepare and validate payroll data for productivity tools and reports.
• Develop service line reports and identify process improvements.
