Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Financial Analyst to support strategic goals and maintain robust financial processes across the organization. You will analyze critical financial data, communicate findings to stakeholders, and ensure accuracy and compliance in financial activities to boost efficiency and strategic planning.

You will perform month-end close support, budgeting, variance analysis, and coordinate with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Five years of experience in a Finance or Accounting Position.
• 3 Years in a Hospital Setting.

Responsibilities

• Month End Close Support – assist in monthly close, prepare journal entries, perform variance and revenue analysis.
• Budget Preparation/Support/Monitoring – forecast, detailed budgets, analyze actual vs budget, develop action plans to reduce variances.
• Problem Resolution – analyze data, communicate recommendations, handle unanticipated events constructively.
• Special Projects – develop understanding, gather info, prepare summary analyses and recommendations.
• Coordination – coordinate with auditors and prepare annual IRS returns; maintain confidentiality.
