Minden Medical Center in Minden, LA seeks a Full-Time Controller to oversee monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will lead the finance team, collaborate with executives, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to support the hospital's mission of excellent patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred) and at least four years in healthcare finance, including leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of four years of healthcare finance experience, including two years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end-close accounting processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and assist CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
• Address reporting requests from agencies such as AHA and CMS.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to financial reporting standards.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Lead and manage a Senior Accountant; monitor internal controls and assist policy development.
