Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The role requires onsite work in Dayton, OH with occasional travel to local accounts for quarterly reviews.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree and 1–3 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and exposure to SAP or BI tools. This is a hands-on position with growth opportunities in a large healthcare services organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to set goals, objectives, and timelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent, and Business Intelligence, a plus.
• Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of monthly operating statistics.
• Conducts thorough research and analysis of variances to ensure data accuracy.
• Develop financial modeling, financial statement analysis, decision modeling, reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Assist in budget preparation and review of the company’s operating budgets.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, and modeling tools.
• Analyze actual results versus forecast and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Assist with compiling monthly financial results for executive presentations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support ad hoc projects in Finance.
