• Education: Degree in business/accounting or closely related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with exceptional focus to detail
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer-based accounting systems and Microsoft Office, with a strong preference for advanced Excel skills
• Soft Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts
• Approved relevant education or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supports the financial operations of the department by assisting with financial reporting, budget monitoring, general ledger activities, and other accounting functions.
• Maintains accurate financial records and assists with budget preparation and account reconciliations.
• Prepares routine financial reports and analyses; collaborates with the finance team and contracted accounting resources to ensure data accuracy.
