Job summary

Saint Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial planning, forecasting, and detailed analysis to support the organization's fiscal health. You will manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closing activities, ensure tax compliance and audit readiness, and develop automated tools for consolidated reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or five years of related job/industry experience in lieu of the degree.
Minimum of five years analytical and accounting experience.
Experience with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.

Responsibilities

Mentors and supports team members in the development of their knowledge and professional skills.
Completes month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to cash management, tax and audit.
Creates and utilizes automated tools for updating, analyzing and reporting consolidated financial results.
Performs accounting functions for the organization, including record keeping and reporting.
Actively participates in developing the annual budget.
Compile hospital volume-related statistics and coordinate data gathering for new programs.
