Job summary

RightClick in Milford, CT is seeking a Healthcare Field Technician to install, configure, and maintain low-voltage systems such as CCTV, nurse call, and digital whiteboard equipment across healthcare and commercial sites. This onsite role requires reliable teamwork and clear daily reporting while traveling within CT, NJ, and lower NY.

You will perform cabling, testing, and configuration, log daily progress for project management, and participate in on-call rotations after training.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and commissioning healthcare, low-voltage AV/IT systems.
• Familiar with nurse call, public address, data cabling, and telephony equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Relaibility and strong communication for field reporting.
• CT Low Voltage License preferred; Rauland nurse call knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, cable, configure, and test low-voltage systems such as CCTV and nurse call.

Our client is seeking a Healthcare Field Technician to install, configure, and maintain low-voltage systems including CCTV, nurse call, and digital whiteboard equipment across healthcare and commercial sites. The ideal candidate is reliable, a strong communicator, and comfortable balancing hands-on fieldwork with clear daily reporting. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT, with regular travel throughout Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

Healthcare Field Technician's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform cabling and equipment installation, including work at heights on ladders
• Configure, program, and test low-voltage systems
• Log daily time and provide regular project status updates to the Project Management team
• Join the on-call rotation once fully trained
• Travel throughout CT, NJ, and lower NY to support client sites

Healthcare Field Technician's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience installing and commissioning Healthcare, Low Voltage, Audio/Visual, Telephony, VOIP, IT, Network Cabling, or Data Communication systems
• Familiarity with Healthcare Communication, Public Address, Data Cabling, and Telephony equipment
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience with Nurse Call equipment a plus; Rauland knowledge is a strong plus
• State of CT Low Voltage C, L, or E License preferred
• Basic IT, VOIP, and networking knowledge preferred
