Job summary

OpenKyber is seeking a Director of Facilities Management to oversee hospital maintenance, safety, and operations. You will supervise staff, coordinate life safety and regulatory compliance, and manage both operating and capital budgets to support reliable services.

Responsibilities include coordinating contractors, driving Lean-based process improvements, and ensuring energy and safety standards across the facility portfolio. A strong leadership background in healthcare facilities is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of plant operations management in healthcare.
• Progressive supervisory/management experience in facilities.
• Experience with regulatory codes and accreditation agencies.
• Strong budgeting, analytics, and cost-control abilities.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, NFPA, Life Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct departmental activities to ensure quality services.
• Coordinate compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and local regs.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
• Plan life safety measures and ensure documentation and inspections.
• Supervise staff, recruit, evaluate performance, and train personnel.
• Coordinate maintenance contractors and hospital construction schedules.
• Lead process improvements to reduce cost and improve response time.
• Collaborate with divisions to align operations with hospital goals.
