Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a Healthcare Facilities Management Director to lead the Plant Operations and Maintenance departments within a hospital campus under contract. You will plan, prioritize, and control the scope of operations to meet high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

The role requires director-level experience in healthcare facilities, proficiency in CMMS, Excel, Word, and Outlook, and a strong understanding of NFPA, CMS, OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred or related field.
• Director-level experience in engineering, maintenance or construction in a health care institution.
• Ability to read, comprehend and transmit complicated detailed instructions orally and in writing.
• Previous Facilities Management experience in an acute care hospital is required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures.
• Meets with hospital client and staff to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and communicate programs and policies.
• Supervises workflow to ensure workload is completed and aligns with facility standards.
• Prepares and manages departmental budgets, including energy savings programs.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST and other regulations.
• Supervises performance evaluations for assigned personnel.
• Guides employees on facility personnel and employee relations programs.
