Job summary

Senior LIFE PACE is seeking a dedicated Facility Manager to oversee the Environmental Services Department at our Reading, PA healthcare center. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation and general maintenance while leading a team in safety and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a relevant field and at least one year in a nursing home or health/social services setting, with a high school diploma or GED. EOE.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a relevant field.
• At least one year working in a nursing home or other health/social services environment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Developing and overseeing goals for the Environmental Services Department.
• Handling new problems efficiently and effectively as they arise.
• Researching, recommending and purchasing facilities equipment and supplies.
• Arranging fire drills and training staff and members in critical disaster safety procedures, plus establishing preventative measures for the center.
• Coordinating medical equipment delivery to in-home members.
• Maintaining and repairing homebound members’ medical equipment.
• Updating material data safety sheets, as required.
• Chairing the Safety Committee with LIFE Center staff.
