Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a skilled maintenance worker to support hospital facilities across the United States. The role involves electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and carpentry tasks, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance.

You will document work orders in Maximo, maintain daily logs, and coordinate repairs with minimal impact on patient care while working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year general maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration and carpentry.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, equipment, carpentry, and fire safety maintenance tasks by inspecting and repairing equipment.
• Check appliances for proper operation and reliability.
• Maintain and update daily log and Maximo work orders.
• Complete routine and PM tasks on schedule and ensure clean work areas.
