Job summary

Southland Health & Rehab is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Georgia to handle routine upkeep, electrical work, and equipment testing to support high-quality resident care. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and clear communication with staff.

You will perform air-conditioning maintenance, fire-safety checks, grounds care, and occasional carpentry to keep the facility welcoming and functional for patients and families.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a H.S. diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Changes air conditioner/heater filters as scheduled/needed.
• Performs routine maintenance of air conditioners/heaters.
• Uses pressure washer as requested.
• Tests fire alarm systems as scheduled/needed.
• Maintains the grounds of the center and performs minor carpentry as needed.
• Paints interior or exterior of the center and assists in basic renovations.
