Job summary

Rockford Center in Newark, DE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time day shift with rotating weekends and holidays. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, healthy, and pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitors, including specialized floor care and routine building maintenance.

You will repair and maintain HVAC equipment, perform general repairs, painting, grounds upkeep, routine plumbing and electrical work, and assist in setting up facilities for events

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related maintenance experience; hospital setting preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC equipment.
• General repair, painting and maintenance of building.
• Maintain grounds to include ice and snow removal and parking lot maintenance.
• Carry out routine plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair.
• Prepare facility for special functions (tables, chairs, equipment).
• Respond promptly to alarms and codes per safety procedures.
