Job summary

The Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing at Washington Township is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team on the day shift. This role supports the facility by performing repairs, maintenance, and safety tasks to keep the building and equipment in top condition.

You will participate in preventive maintenance, assist with improvements, and coordinate with other departments while staying on-call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Facilities maintenance experience required or preferred.
• Ability to perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Commitment to safety rules and building codes.
• Reliable, detail-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Meet physical and sensory requirements and work in the described environment.
• Identify and participate in process improvements to enhance customer experience and workflow.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies.
• Test emergency generator weekly and monthly as required by regulations.
• Know and follow safety rules and procedures of the maintenance department.
• Maintain the building in good repair and compliant with federal, state, and local codes.
