Eisenhower Health is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in the Plant Maintenance department. The role involves routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Candidates should have basic hand and power tool skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This part-time position requires good communication, procedural adherence, and timely documentation of work requests.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year in maintenance or hospital setting.
• Preferred: maintenance in service industry (healthcare or hospitality).
• Education: N/A Licensure/Certification: N/A

Responsabilités

• 1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and policies and reports suspected violations.
• 2. Performs daily rounds of assigned areas with end users to ensure facility and equipment are in satisfactory condition.
• 3. Maintains systems and buildings in a craftsman-like manner with minimal callbacks.
• 4. Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment (tube system, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, beds, gurneys) without callbacks.
• 5. Performs preventive maintenance and keeps accurate records; notes corrections and ensures inspections are up to date.
• 6. Completes repairs within same day or one day of issuance; communicates status to end user.
• 7. Achieves a 95%+ completion rate on scheduled preventive maintenance.
• 8. Maintains a safe, clean work environment and accurate department documentation.
• 9. Communicates delays or conflicts to supervisor and end users.
• 10. Maintains inventory and tools in good condition required for maintenance duties.
• 11. Takes responsibility for assigned work requests and seeks outside help when needed.
• 12. Completes all logs and work requests timely.
• 13. Performs other duties as assigned.
