East Park Care Community is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep, repairs, and safety compliance across its healthcare facility. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance to ensure a safe, functional environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, inventory management, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certs preferred.
• 1–2 years building maintenance or repair experience; healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
• Inspect building and grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety.
• Conduct carpentry, painting, and minor construction as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Implement and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs for compliance.
• Follow safety protocols and building codes; assist with fire safety systems.
• Respond to emergency repairs after hours when needed.
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies; notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and other departments; communicate with residents and staff.
