Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium buildings and healthcare facility systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose problems, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.

This day-shift role (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) includes on-call rotation about once per month, with a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle if needed. Excellent organization and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience
• Driver's license required
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more and climbing stairs/ladders
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards
• Strong communication skills to exchange information clearly
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Contribute to team output following defined duties and processes under supervision.
