Job summary

Villa Healthcare Rose City in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team. You will perform daily maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of interior and exterior areas to ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. You will support the environmental services team and assist in evaluating facility needs and organizing tools and parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing maintenance duties in healthcare or industrial settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of interior and exterior areas.
• Address maintenance requests and support environmental services team.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure safety practices are followed.
• Repair and replace door/window hardware and lighting fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment as needed.
