Job summary

Villa At Rose City is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their team and ensure daily maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the facility for residents, staff, and visitors.

The role covers basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, with a focus on safety, inventory management, and coordination with environmental services. This is a full-time position located on-site in Rose City, MI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing maintenance duties in a healthcare facility or industrial setting required.
• Associate degree, trade program certificates, or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of interior and exterior areas.
• Lead facility inspections and meet with inspectors when needed.
• Perform snow and ice removal as directed.
• Repair and replace door and window hardware.
• Maintain lighting fixtures and pumps and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain inventories of parts and tools and document activities.
• Follow safety principles and maintain compliance with protocols.
