Job summary

MediLodge Port Huron is seeking a Maintenance Crew member to perform routine building maintenance and support operations critical to resident safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include HVAC and equipment upkeep, coordination with contractors, and ongoing facility inspections. Candidates should have at least one year of maintenance experience, with a preference for a high school diploma and safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• One year in building maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs to building and equipment.
• Monitors renovations or projects by contractors.
• Maintains HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers and dryers, and other equipment.
• Participates in painting, carpentry, concrete and masonry tasks.
• Documents routine fire control equipment inspections.
• Maintains weekly facility logs for safety compliance.
• Coordinates monthly fire drills.
• Inspects grounds and performs landscaping tasks.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
