Job summary

MediLodge in Lansing, Michigan, is seeking a Maintenance Crew member responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds. You will perform routine maintenance, repair equipment, and assist in various projects including HVAC and plumbing.

The ideal applicant has a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in building maintenance, with strong communication skills necessary for effective collaboration with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• One year experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair required to keep the building and equipment in good working order.
• Monitor building and equipment renovations done by contractors.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers and dryers.
• Participate in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete, and masonry projects.
• Conduct and document routine inspections of fire control equipment.
• Maintain weekly facility log and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Inspect grounds and perform landscaping tasks.
