Job summary

MediLodge in Farmington Hills is seeking a Maintenance Crew member to perform essential building and equipment maintenance. In this role, you will help ensure the facility remains in excellent condition, making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair required to keep the building and equipment in good working order.
• Monitor building and equipment renovations and projects done by contractors.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers and dryers.
• Participate in painting, redecorating, carpentry, and masonry projects.
• Conduct and document routine inspections of fire control equipment.
• Maintain weekly facility log for safety compliance.
• Coordinate and document monthly fire drills.
• Inspect grounds and perform landscaping tasks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Skills

Knowledge of building codes

Knowledge of HVAC systems

Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems

Knowledge of OSHA requirements

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to operate mowing equipment
