Pruitthealth Corporation in Florida seeks a Maint Asst HCC to assist in repairs and maintenance of the nursing center in a safe, compliant manner under supervision. Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine maintenance of air conditioners/heaters.
• Uses pressure washer as requested.
• Uses electrical tools and equipment when appropriate (voltmeter, drills, saws, etc.).
• Checks oxygen level of concentrators as requested or needed.
• Performs routine maintenance of oxygen concentrator as scheduled/needed.
• Performs water temperature tests as requested/scheduled.
• Tests fire alarm systems as scheduled/needed.
• Tests fire safety equipment as scheduled/needed.
• Builds various structures for patient use (benches, flower boxes, etc.).
• Completes general maintenance, plumbing repair, replacing hair traps, unclogging toilets, repairing washers/dryers, replacing pipes/water lines.
• Maintains and replaces electrical outlets and light bulbs and rewires/replaces wiring in equipment.
• Installs and checks batteries of smoke alarms.
• Assists in fire drills and checks extinguishers with the fire Marshall.
• Removes furniture when rooms are repurposed.
• Paints interior or exterior; possible wallpapering.
• Assists in construction of additions to the center.
• Maintains grounds (garbage removal, lawn care, hedges, weeds).
• Performs routine laundry equipment maintenance.
• Performs unscheduled maintenance tasks.
• Performs generator testing and routine maintenance.
• Assists with major cleaning projects.

Formation

High School graduate or equivalent.
