Job summary

Diversicare seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repair building systems, and support our nursing centers. You will help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Role requires HVAC repair experience, basic electrical/plumbing skills, and a High School Diploma or GED. You may coordinate with department managers and may drive for company business as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC repair experience is required.
• Basic electrical and plumbing repair skills are highly desired.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and maintains maintenance records as instructed.
• Performs building and equipment repairs per work orders.
• Tests fire safety equipment and logs findings.
• Coordinates services with department managers to avoid interruption.
• Maintains building in good repair and compliant with laws.
• Drives for company business with company or personal vehicle.
• Maintains resident confidentiality and treats residents with kindness and respect.
