Job summary

The Legacy At Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to keep the facility safe, clean, and hazard-free for residents and staff. You will perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance across trades while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will manage inventory, log tasks, and assist during inspections and projects, ensuring compliance and timely responses to on-call needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a 10th-grade education.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Maintain outside grounds, walkways, and parking areas.
• Inspect, test, and repair clinical and non-clinical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.).
• Service heating and cooling units according to manufacturer specs and safety rules.
• Assist inspectors, contractors, and vendors during facility projects.
