Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to care for the safety, physical plant, and grounds of our healthcare facility. You will perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance to keep residents and staff safe and comfortable.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, manage inventory, log tasks and costs, stay on-call for emergencies, and support QA/QI activities while following life-safety and infection-control policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a 10th-grade education.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 25 lbs to 5 ft and carrying it 50 ft.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays; capable of responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• General repairs: plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.
• Groundskeeping: maintain outside grounds, walkways, and parking lots; clear egress routes.
• Inspect, test, and repair clinical and non-clinical machinery and equipment.
• Service HVAC systems per manufacturer specs and safety rules.
• Assist inspectors, contractors, and vendors during facility projects.
• Log tasks, file inspection reports, and track repair costs.
• Maintain on-call hours for emergency repairs and participate in meetings.
