Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in our facilities. You will perform interior and exterior repairs, respond to emergencies, and support the operations team with routine maintenance tasks.

Ideal candidates demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork, with relevant technical training or certifications

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; relevant technical training preferred.
• Three years of general building repair and maintenance experience.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety procedures, maintain housekeeping and safety of work areas.
• Inspect and repair building systems, lighting, fixtures, and plumbing.
• Respond to emergencies and support operations in maintenance tasks.
• Operate and coordinate with vendors; document work orders and materials.
• Perform interior maintenance and small projects; assist with HVAC controls.
• Maintain office equipment and ensure compliance with codes and laws.
