Job summary

Atlas Healthcare at Seashore Gardens is seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to help keep resident rooms, common areas, offices, and exterior grounds safe and well-maintained. The role performs routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and supports facility projects as needed.

You will work in a hands-on, part-time in-person setting, collaborating with Nursing, Housekeeping, Administration and other teams to respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a clean, safe

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building/facilities maintenance or related trades.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, drywall repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and exterior grounds.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall and general building issues.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment and building systems.
• Set up resident rooms for new admissions, including beds and furniture.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Housekeeping, Administration and other departments.
