Job summary

CBRE in Plano, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support two adjacent hospital campuses on the 1st shift. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance focused on HVAC and plumbing to keep critical building systems safe, reliable, and compliant.

Duties include inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, executing repairs, handling work orders in CMMS, and providing courteous service to staff, patients, and visitors while following prescribed procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance across two hospital facilities.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose issues and perform repairs promptly.
• Carry out HVAC, plumbing and electrical tasks as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend asset lifespan.
• Assist with general facility tasks (no painting or drywall).
• Complete work orders efficiently and accurately.
• Use CMMS to track and close work orders and maintain records.
• Respond to emergencies to minimize hospital disruption.
• Interact professionally with staff, patients and visitors.
• Follow established procedures and communicate clearly.
• Contribute to team through defined duties under supervision.
