FutureCare is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and safety devices across our facility. You will log activities, execute repairs, and support adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The role supports efficiency and resident comfort in a healthcare setting. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in building maintenance preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility environment is a plus.
• Ability to read/write English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance for facility and building systems.
• Perform repairs and maintain logs/reports.
• Ensure compliance with State/Federal codes.
• Maintain clean and safe maintenance area.
• Read refrigerator and water temperatures daily.
• Adhere to purchase order procedures and facility policies.
