Brookestone Meadows is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and physical plant operations of our long-term care and short-term rehabilitation facility. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the building, grounds, equipment, and systems are safe, functional, well-maintained, and compliant with applicable regulations.

• Previous maintenance experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare, long-term care, assisted living, hospital, or similar setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and follow manuals, instructions, policies, and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and respond appropriately to urgent situations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while also leading and supporting a team.
• Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with residents, families, employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Must be dependable and able to respond to facility emergencies when required.
• Must be able to pass required background checks and meet facility employment requirements.

• Oversee maintenance operations and staff.
• Complete routine inspections of building, grounds, equipment, and systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and resident care-related needs.
• Perform or coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, work orders, and PM.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized work.
• Obtain estimates and assist with projects.
• Monitor safety and identify hazards.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and response.
• Oversee security, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other systems.
• Maintain fire/life-safety equipment and testing.
• Assist with generators and emergency equipment.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.
