Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living in Tigard, Oregon seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Washington Gardens Memory Care. You will lead the maintenance department, oversee daily facility operations, ensure compliance, and keep residents and staff safe and comfortable through proactive maintenance programs.

Candidates should have 3+ years in building maintenance, leadership experience, and knowledge of boilers, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience maintaining buildings such as long-term care or multi-site facilities.
• Leadership and/or management experience in a maintenance setting.
• Knowledge of boilers, generators, compressors and mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and blueprints.
• CPR/BLS certification active at hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations and supervise staff and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and company policies.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies with prompt repairs.
• Manage budget, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain safety programs and train staff on infection control and safety.
