Job summary

Empire Care Centers is looking for a Maintenance Director to lead the facility's daily and preventative maintenance, supervise staff, and ensure reliable operations across interior and exterior areas. This hands-on role requires inspection, repair, and good coordination.

You will oversee budgets, manage mechanical equipment like water heaters, HVAC, and kitchen appliances, and perform a range of trades from carpentry to plumbing.

Qualifications

• Maintenance leadership experience in a healthcare facility
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of water heaters, HVAC units, and kitchen equipment
• Strong team player

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the maintenance staff, ensuring efficient and competent service.
• Conduct daily facility inspections.
• Manage and adhere to maintenance budgets.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all mechanical equipment, including water heaters, HVAC units, kitchen equipment, etc.
• Perform or supervise various maintenance functions such as installations, carpentry, furnace and air conditioner repairs, plumbing and appliance repairs, drywall and painting repairs, minor roof repairs, and more.
• Maintain control of maintenance storage and mechanical rooms.
• Ensure proper use and care of all tools, equipment, and vehicles.
