Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking an on-site facilities construction professional to support building management across the healthcare system. You will perform carpentry, flooring, painting, drywall, and related tasks in both new builds and refresh projects, typically Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• LIC-Driver’s License - STATE_MI State of Michigan.

Responsabilités

• Communicates and collaborates with supervisors, project managers and other construction trades to ensure quality, cost-effective construction.
• Performs expert level communication and hands-on construction activities with measurement and calculation tasks.
• Inspects and mentors apprentices and provides work direction as needed.
• Documents procedures and work completed accurately and timely.
• Ensures proper care and safe use of equipment and supplies; keeps areas clean and safe.
• Works on specialty systems including material estimating, ordering, and site preparation.
• Ensures all services meet legal specs, codes and compliance.
• Plans and coordinates workflow with other trades and acts as a resource for building systems.
