Texas Children's is seeking a Facilities Project Manager I in Houston to lead multi-phase upgrades and renovations from pre-design to closeout. You will develop scopes, budgets, and funding plans, while coordinating internal teams and external contractors to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

You will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, collaborating with departments to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Required bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in design, architecture, construction, or project management.
  • Required 1 year of experience coordinating projects in the design and/or construction industries.
  • Preferred project experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Leads project management through pre-design, funding, design, pricing/purchasing, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Develops project scope based on customer needs and standards.
  • Develops project budget and assists customers in identifying funding.
  • Coordinates external resources to support scope design.
  • Manages internal and external resources to plan, design, and document project design.
  • Maintains effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with teams to address issues and achieve best outcomes.
  • Upholds professional attitude, honesty, and integrity.
