Job summary

MaineHealth seeks a Facilities Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Management Department at Maine Medical Center. You will oversee Plant Operation, Routine Maintenance, Equipment, Utility, Life Safety, and the Environment of Care for patients, visitors and staff.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Education: Post-secondary education in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent experience.
• License/Certifications: 4th class Stationary Engineers License required. Valid Maine Driver’s license.
• Experience: 3–5 years in the hospital or service field.
• Ability to use basic computer functions Microsoft Office, Email.
• Strong knowledge of codes and regulations and standards.

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Facilities Management Department.
• Manage Plant Operation, Routine Maintenance, Equipment, Utility, Life Safety, and overall Safety.
• Maintain a safe, reliable Environment of Care for Patients, Visitors and Staff.
