Job summary

The Williamsport Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a critical member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds, contributing to a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

This full-time position offers competitive wages of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing, and replacing fixtures, furniture, and equipment
• Clean and disinfect facilities, including bathrooms, patient rooms, and common areas
• Assist with groundskeeping, including lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal as needed
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to identify and prioritize tasks
• Respond to maintenance requests from healthcare professionals and patients
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
