Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care preferred.
• Understanding of maintenance, grounds, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of the property including grounds and physical plant.
• Perform painting, plumbing, carpentry, window and wall repairs.
• Repair electrical fixtures, call system, lighting, and HVAC-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain records for medical equipment and service/repair history.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on medical and other facility equipment.
• Follow safety protocols per Life Safety Code and OSHA requirements.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and life safety compliance.
