The role focuses on maintaining safe, reliable environments for patient care while driving energy efficiency and capital improvements. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in healthcare facilities, CHFM certification, and strong leadership, budgeting, and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Healthcare engineering or facilities management experience (≥5 years).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and hospital systems.
• Proven leadership, project management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• CHFM certification and experience with Joint Commission and OSHA requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facilities operations, maintenance, repairs, HVAC, utilities, buildings, and grounds.
• Lead and develop engineering and maintenance staff.
• Manage renovations, capital projects, and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Develop budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to support safe, reliable patient care.
