Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Facilities Management Director for Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in New York. You will lead plant operations and maintenance in a hospital campus environment, planning and controlling budgets and programs under the contract.

The role requires strong experience in healthcare facilities, CMMS proficiency, and knowledge of NFPA, TJC, CMS, DNV, EPA, OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years in Director level OR 10 years in Director level in healthcare facilities management.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Proficiency with CMMS; knowledge of NFPA, TJC, CMS, DNV, EPA, OSHA codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Plant Operations & Maintenance in hospital campus environment.
• Plan, prioritize, and control department programs and budgets.
• Coordinate with hospital client and staff on programs and policies.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulators.
• Supervise personnel and manage staffing and evaluations.
• Oversee construction and development of facilities; liaise with contractors as needed.
