Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Healthcare Facilities Management Director to lead Plant Operations & Maintenance at Mount Sinai Main Campus. You will plan, prioritize, and control the department’s programs, budgets, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering with director-level healthcare facilities experience, and proficiency with CMMS, Excel, Word, and Outlook.Join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Director-level experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Construction in healthcare settings.
• Ability to read and transmit complex instructions in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures.
• Meets with hospital client and staff to plan, coordinate, and communicate programs and policies.
• Supervises workflow and ensures quality to meet facility standards.
• Prepares and leads departmental budgets, including utilities energy savings programs.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and other regulations.
• Supervises performance evaluations and guides personnel relations programs.
• Plans and oversees construction and development of facilities.
• Reviews and approves plans for construction.
• Acts as liaison with contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

2 years responsibility at a Director Level OR 5 years responsibility at a Director Level in health care facilities
