Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of related custodial experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of standard custodial practices and equipment.
• HIPAA training or the ability to complete training within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings with prioritization of clinical spaces/patient care areas clean, presentable and orderly.
• Maintains floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and cleaning carpet; strips, waxes, and buffs floors as needed.
• Wash interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, windows, doors using appropriate supplies.
• Clean all bathrooms, kitchen, lobby, conference rooms and office areas.
• Empty waste receptacles and dispose of refuse.
• Dust and polish furniture and maintain organized storage for supplies.
• Assist with outside duties: wash windows, clean exterior, sweep walkways, and pick up trash.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to supervisor and assist with safety protocols.
