Job summary

Elk Ridge Administration (Elk Ridge) is seeking a Facilities Assistant to maintain clinics, supervise relief staff, and ensure safety compliance. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, cleanliness, emergency planning, and regulatory inspections across multiple sites in Flagstaff, AZ.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience, and a valid fingerprint clearance card or imminent eligibility, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience: One year as facilities assistant or related role.
• Fingerprint clearance card current or applied within seven working days.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for maintaining a preventive maintenance program within the confines of the annual budget and for maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
• Directly responsible for cleanliness inside and outside the assigned clinics.
• Maintain a plan for fire evacuation and disaster response; serve as Emergency Response Coordinator.
• Responsible for the paper recycling program.
• Maintain up-to-date records for all state, federal, and insurance inspections (semi-annual/annual).
• Provide training and supervise relief employees.
• Keep current on OSHA safety standards and implement them.
• Distribute and safeguard keys for buildings.
• Maintain Joint Commission standards and a safe, hygienic work environment.
