Job summary

Emplify Health seeks a UX Designer to create intuitive, human-centered digital solutions for patients, providers, and healthcare teams. You'll participate in the full product development process, from research to ongoing support, reporting to the Director of Experience Design, ITDS.

Responsibilities include delivering polished UX artifacts, conducting user research, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting vendor-provided products, with ongoing professional development and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Human Computer Interaction or related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience as a UX designer within a digital product development environment.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry, preferred.
• Strong UX portfolio demonstrating past design projects.
• Deep experience in Human-Centered Design.
• Fluent in the standard tools of the UX trade, e.g. Figma, HTML/CSS, prototyping tools, and usability testing like UserTesting.
• Experience planning, implementing and reporting on user research and usability testing.
• Strong user experience skill set including; research, synthesis, design strategy, and the development of typical UX artifacts.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative design environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intuitive, simple, and evidence-based user experiences for all digital solutions: Produces user flows, wireframes, prototypes, user interface specifications, final design assets, and other common Design deliverables with a high degree of craft and attention to detail.
• Conducts foundational research using Human-Centered Design best practices: Plans for research and moderates user interviews and usability studies as necessary.
• Collaboratively validation with stakeholders on design and requirements on a rolling basis.
• Provide ongoing UX support to vendor-provided products and advocate for user needs in feature implementations.
• Pursue relevant educational and professional opportunities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills.
