Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a healthcare setting. The role supports healing and well-being by ensuring a sanitary facility for patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

You will perform cleaning, floor care, waste management, and laundry services, following established infection prevention protocols and collaborating with the Supervisor and Manager to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning patient areas and public spaces.
• Ability to follow infection prevention protocols.
• Willingness to perform laundry and light maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to organizational standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
