Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee support services and coordinate frontline staff. You will liaison between administration and unit departments to ensure high-quality service in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include establishing standards, scheduling, recruiting and training staff, supervising housekeeping teams, and coordinating external services. Strong leadership, communication, and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience with high customer/client contact.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a changing and stressful environment.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules and areas of work to ensure adequate services are rendered.
• Assists in the hiring process; interview, hiring and training of new associates.
• Orients, develops, and supervises all supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Coordinates outside services (i.e. Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste, Document Destruction, and Recycling program)
• Monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
• Provides staff education and continuous training.
• Communicates with staff, administration, and other departments.
