Job summary

TouchPoint is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead 2nd and 3rd shift EVS operations in a 200+ bed acute care hospital. You will oversee patient care areas, public spaces, offices, and support departments, ensuring a clean, safe environment that supports patient care and infection prevention.

Preferred qualifications include EVS leadership experience in healthcare, supervisory background, budgeting knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EVS operations in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Two or more years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and healthcare sanitation standards.
• Ability to manage labor, staffing plans, budgets, and supply inventories.

Responsibilities

• Manage second and third shift EVS operations across patient areas, public spaces and offices.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate EVS staff and leads.
• Develop staffing plans, work schedules, and departmental workflows.
• Ensure cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms and clinical areas.
• Conduct inspections and quality audits of cleanliness, safety, and service levels.
• Manage departmental budgets, expenditures, and operational metrics.
• Coordinate housekeeping with hospital departments and act as liaison.
• Oversee EVS supplies, chemicals, equipment, and inventory.
• Provide ongoing infection prevention and safety education to staff.
