Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring an Environmental Services Manager for 1st shift to oversee support service operations in a healthcare setting. You will coordinate frontline associates, ensure service levels, and act as liaison between administration and department teams.

You will establish standards, plan staffing, participate in hiring and training, supervise housekeeping staff, and drive monthly reporting and continuous improvement within the facility.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience with high customer contact.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
• Ability to stay organized in a changing, stressful environment.
• Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet.

Responsibilities

• Establishs and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assists in hiring, interviewing, and training new associates.
• Orients, develops, and supervises supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts inspections and makes facility recommendations.
• Conducts monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
• Provides staff education and continuous training.
• Coordinates outside services (Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical Waste, Document Destruction, Recycling).
