Crothall Healthcare in Davenport, IA is seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager to lead the housekeeping department, coordinate front-line staff, and act as a liaison between hospital administration and clinical teams to ensure the highest level of service. The role requires supervisory experience, a four‑year college degree, and strong written and spoken communication.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer contact.
• Healthcare housekeeping or facilities experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and annually reviews standards and procedures for Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assists in hiring, interviewing, and training of new associates.
• Orients, develops, and supervises supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts regular inspections and makes recommendations to facility management.
• Monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments and future plans.
• Staff education and training.
• Communicates with staff, administration and other departments.
• Coordinates outside services (e.g., Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste, Document Destruction, Recycling).
