Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, offers a Summer 2027 Environmental Services Intern position in Little Rock, AR. You will work closely with leaders, gain hands-on experience in hospital cleanliness, frontline team management, vendor relations, and patient experience initiatives.

This paid internship develops operational, safety, and training competencies, with opportunities to learn the Accelerated Manager Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled college/university junior or senior.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form from hourly staff to Director level.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with Windows-based Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Interest in Crothall Accelerated Manager Program after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational standards.
• Participate in department safety and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Respond to concerns and requests with urgency and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure facility security integrity at all times.
• Identify and correct facility quality assurance concerns with timely follow-up.
• Bring creativity and innovation to the Crothall Healthcare program.
• Ensure staff receive proper orientation and ongoing training.
• Provide and monitor guidance and motivation to associates to maximize performance.
• Handle special requests or projects as assigned.
